Company Name Change Reflects Growing Success of Flagship Brand

CLIFTON, NJ--(COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Feb. 25, 2000--American Collegiate Media, the corporate parent of Collegiate Presswire, announced today it has changed its name to Collegiate Presswire, Inc., effective immediately.

The name change reflects the company`s single-minded focus on growing its core collegiate-media wire service of the same name and living up to its reputation as ''America`s Internet College Media Company.''

American Collegiate Media was founded to be the corporate parent of the Collegiate Presswire service in March 1998. With the growth of the service and growing sales and business-development efforts, though, the developing Collegiate Presswire brand began to overshadow the parent company.
