NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--March 15, 2006--Phoenix Audio Technologies, today at Spring VON 2006, is proud to announce that the Duet Speakerphone is set for nationwide distribution through CompUSA stores and the Bandwidth VoIP sales organization. CompUSA will be the first nationwide retailer to offer Phoenix Audio's Solo and Duet speakerphone products to enhance the quality of Bandwidth voice communication for small and medium sized businesses. CompUSA will carry three products from Phoenix Audio Technologies; the Solo microphone, the Duet Personal Conferencing Speakerphone, and the Duet Executive speakerphone. These offerings answer the demand for hands-free, un-tethered, high-quality full-duplex audio for a wide array of communications: VoIP, desktop videoconferencing, eLearning, cellphones, desktop phones, etc.
CompUSA will not only provide a point of sale in their more than 240 stores nationwide, but will market Phoenix Audio's personal conferencing speakerphones with Bandwidth Service offerings to small and medium sized businesses. The Duet Executive improves speakerphone quality of desktop phones, cell phones and Blackberrys in addition to the Bandwidth Softphone offering.
"With this partnership, we're offering small and mid-size business owners a solution never available to them before: the ability to select and purchase a comprehensive VoIP system from a trusted national retailer, knowledgeable about their needs and ready to provide the services to get it done right," said Brian Woods, executive vice president of merchandising for CompUSA.
Clear, boardroom conference quality is the result of Phoenix Audio's proprietary technologies which include acoustic echo cancellation, noise suppression, Line Echo, Voice Level Compensation (VLC) and acoustic modeling. Now more than one person can participate in an online conference, at the same endpoint, headset-free.
"We are very excited to launch the Duet PCS and Duet Executive speakerphones through CompUSA as they are a premier, highly respected retailer," said Myles Rush, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Phoenix Audio Technologies. "Serving as a nationwide point of sale for Phoenix Audio products, desktop videoconferencing, internet telephony and distance learning consumers will be able to purchase full solutions all in one store. Participating in CompUSA's Bandwidth VoIP launch allows us to better serve the needs of small and medium sized businesses."
The Duet speakerphone was designed for use with VoIP, webconferencing, distance learning, recording, and softphones by SOHO, SME, Large Enterprise and Contact Centers. Phoenix Audio products are available in CompUSA stores March in April 2006. About Phoenix Audio Technologies
