HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--April 14, 2006--LenSec, the leader in K-12 District-Wide Video Surveillance, has made a $10,000 donation to the "Roads to You" concert tour, offering support to the May 25, 2006 concert at Stude Hall on the campus of Rice University in Houston, Texas. Under the Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan, and in partnership with Berklee College of Music and Seeds of Peace, the four-week-long tour, "Roads to You: Celebration of One World" (www.roadstoyou.com), exists to bring world cultures closer together through youth cultural exchange in musical concerts and workshops throughout the United States in May of 2006.
"It is an honor to be a part of this unique cultural event and to support the message of bringing many cultures together," said Keith Drummond, LenSec Chief Executive Officer.
The "Roads to You" tour is the brainchild of twenty-five-year-old award-winning Jordanian composer and pianist Zade. Zade has had the honor of performing before thousands in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States, including Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan, and the Former South African President Nelson Mandela.
Dr. Jill Carroll, Associate Director of The Boniuk Center at Rice University where the concert will take place, stated, "We agreed to be the primary sponsor of this project because we believe in using all constructive methods available to create a culture of tolerance, respect and coexistence among people who are very different from each other. Music is one of those methods, and music is a universal language. So, we chose to sponsor the project and bring it to Houston."
