Prometric Announces Winners of Educational Travel Grants

Helps Promote the Exchange of Students and Scholars to and from the U.S.

BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--May 17, 2007--As a global partner of NAFSA, the Association of International Education, and as the leading sponsor of its 2007 Overseas Educational Advisors Travel Grant program, Prometric is pleased to announce this year's grant winners. The grants, provided by Prometric and other sponsor organizations, will enable educational advisors from eight different countries to travel to the U.S. for NAFSA's annual conference and exhibition.

The goal of the grant program is to ensure that international educational advisors have access to professional development opportunities that will enable them to effectively advise and guide international students looking to study in the U.S. The travel grants are awarded annually and are obtained through a competitive application process which includes an essay and a letter of endorsement. This year's winners, listed below, were selected from a pool of over 35 applicants.

--  Hasmik Harutyunyan, Gyumri Education Advising Center, Armenia

--  Oyuntulkhoor Jukov, Educational Advising and Resource Center, Mongolia
