Super Duper Sumos(TM), the Highly Rated Cartoon Series From the DIC Kid`s Network and #1 Kids Import From the UK, is Packed with Guts and Big Butts

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Oct 20, 2003--Midway Games Inc. (NYSE:MWY), a leading software industry publisher and developer, announced today that Super Duper Sumos(TM), the highly rated cartoon series from the DIC Kid`s Network and the number one kids import from the UK, shipped today for the Game Boy(R) Advance.

In Super Duper Sumos, three 18-year-old Sumos travel to the modern world with ancient powers to defend the innocent and battle the evil Ms. Mister and her cohorts. Gamers can choose to play as Booma, Defender of Peace; Kimo, Defender of Honor; and Mamoo, Defender of Truth. The Sumos are supersized heroes in a normal-sized world and use their special powers -- ''Gluteus Maximus,'' ''Honorable Thunderball'' and the ''Sumo Squeeze'' -- to double in size and destructiveness in order to fight evil.

''Gamers as well as fans of the cartoon will now be able to unleash the powers of these hugely popular and supersized Sumo heroes on the Game Boy Advance,'' said Mark Beaumont, senior vice president, entertainment, Midway.

Super Duper Sumos allows players to switch between Sumo warriors to continue the action and avoid danger to battle various enemies and evil bosses like Ms. Mister and Genghis Fangus. Mamoo, Defender of Truth, takes charge in battle with the ''Sumo Squeeze'' and a piercing stare that brings enemies to their knees. He is the Defender of Truth and therefore cannot tell a lie, even if it means risking his companion`s safety. Kimo, Defender of Honor, smashes into enemies with his destructive ''Honorable Thunderball,'' rolling through anything in his path. Booma, Defender of Peace, is proud of his oversized buttocks and uses the ''Gluteus Maximus'' move to crush anything under its sweeping arc.

Super Duper Sumos Key Features:

-- Sumo-Sized Super Powers -- Honorable Thunderball, Sumo Squeeze and the Gluteus Maximus

-- Non-Stop Action -- Battle evil with one of three Sumo warriors: Booma, Defender of Peace; Kimo, Defender of Honor; and Mamoo, Defender of Truth

-- Interactive Environments -- Crush buildings and cars as you push forward to fight evil
