GLENDALE, Calif.--(COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Oct 1, 2001--Waking up for that morning class can be challenging even for the most serious students. That is why Nescafé will give coffee lovers an extra boost with a free personal daily wake-up call, direct to their dorm rooms, apartments or houses.

No longer will students and faculty have to worry about that killer 8 a.m. class with the all new Nescafé Wake-Up Call program. Beginning October 1, adventurous coffee drinkers can sign up for the program by simply dialing 1-800-NESCAFÉ. An automated message will walk sleepy students through the enrollment process enabling them to get their own wake-up call at any requested time.

“We are excited to offer coffee connoisseurs a great way to start their day with the one-two-punch of the wake-up call and our delicious convenient Nescafé FROTHÉ beverages,” said Gilles Pelissier, Nescafé marketing manager, Nestlé USA - Beverage Division.

As an extra incentive, each wake-up call will give early risers a weekly “buzzword” for the chance to win cool prizes such as an Apple iBook computer, a Gary Fisher Mountain Bike and a Nintendo Game Cube when they log onto www.Nescafeusa.com. In addition, the site will lead java drinkers to an online bonus area to sign up for a text messaging service. Through this wireless program, special polls and greetings will be sent out to personal pagers or cell phones. Lucky participants will be eligible to win more prizes including tickets to the Nescafé Java Jam concerts featuring the hot band Fuel and money.

Besides the wake-up calls, several students have been recruited to join the Nescafé Brew Crew teams in college campuses throughout upstate New York, Southern and Northern California.

Sporting a cool jet pack of coffee, the Brew Crew members will share Nescafé FROTHÉ coffee drinks with their buddies at a variety of on-campus events. These lucky students will also trace new coffee trends taking place among their friends so Nescafé can continue to offer the most enjoyable coffee experience to students everywhere.
