JobDirect Partners With National Association For Equal Opportunity in Higher Education -- NAFEO -- to Provide Greater Job Opportunities for Minority Students

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Apr 3, 2001--JobDirect, a division of Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), and the leading provider of services to college career centers, and the National Association For Equal Opportunity in Higher Education (NAFEO), teamed to offer JobDirect`s resources to NAFEO and minority students nationwide.

The partnership includes joint participation in career fairs, software, seminars and literature geared toward students within NAFEO`s 118 historically Black colleges and universities.

''In the past, minority students have been hindered by a lack of resources for educational pursuits. By combining NAFEO`s extraordinary commitment to minority students with JobDirect`s financial and marketing muscle, minority students will have access to the best job-searching tools on the Internet,'' said Kevin E. JobDirect is providing its resume-matching database free of charge to students attending NAFEO-member colleges and to career-center officials at those colleges who want to post job openings. In addition, JobDirect will showcase NAFEO in its nationwide marketing programs to raise awareness of NAFEO services and goals.

Schools currently partnered with JobDirect will be exposed to more in-depth services as programs are developed with NAFEO, while other schools will be added on an ongoing basis.
