The Daily Texan at University of Texas, The Battalion at Texas A&M; University, and The Observer at University of Notre Dame Lead List of New Publications Partners for Fall 2003

BOSTON--(COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Oct 31, 2003--College Publisher, the largest network of online campus publications, is pleased to announce the addition of over 20 new publishing partners for the fall of 2003. These newspapers, which vary greatly in circulation and frequency, serve some of the top college and universities in the nation. Most notably, several large campus dailies joined the College Publisher Network, including The Daily Texan at the University of Texas, The Battalion at Texas A&M; University, and The Observer at the University of Notre Dame, providing a total on-campus reach of over 81,000 students.

The University of Texas - Austin has one of the nation`s most highly respected campus media organizations. ''We`ve found College Publisher to be a great Web partner for us,'' said UT-Austin`s Director of Student Media Kathy Lawrence. ''They`re quick to respond to us whenever we have questions, new ideas or service needs. Our students find the software efficient and flexible. We find College Publisher interested in helping us develop our site on the creative side, as well.'' Lawrence is also the incoming president of the College Media Advisors, an important association in the field campus media.

Many of College Publisher`s newest partners joined its network because of several key advancements in the company`s proprietary technology. Most of these advancements focus on development tools, aimed at increasing a Webmaster`s speed, efficiency and flexibility. These new features include custom page template features, an improved media assets manager, an updated content management interface, RSS feeds (allow Webmasters to make their site`s headlines available for easy distribution to any site on the Web) and CSS (allows for global style management).

''We`re delighted to welcome over twenty new publishing partners, including three of the leading college newspapers in the nation,'' said John Fees, Chief Executive Officer of College Publisher. ''These new partnerships are a testament to College Publisher`s continued commitment to providing the best technology and customer service to college student media.''
