Collegiate Presswire offers comprehensive distribution of
your press releases, media alerts and pre-produced content to
a nationwide network of print and broadcast college media
outlets -- as well as student-oriented publications, websites
and the largest information repositories in the world.
Founded in 1998, Collegiate Presswire pioneered the
business of electronic press material distribution to the
college media, sending press releases and ready-to-run content
via e-mail and the Internet to college newspapers across the
country.
A year later, we expanded our services to include the only
electronic collegiate media-monitoring system and an original
Features Syndicate, which offers a free cartoon, two word
puzzles, a dating column and production-ready content to
student media outlets in return for a brand-credit placement
in each feature.
In 2002, at the request of numerous clients, we debuted CP
RadioWire, the first electronic wire distribution service
transmitting text and multimedia press materials on a daily
basis to the nation's top college and university radio
stations.
In 2003, we entered into several strategic
content-sharing partnerships. Through an alliance with College
Publisher, all of Collegiate Presswires press releases are
posted in full-text to their network of online college
newspapers for use in online editions. Through an agreement
with LexisNexis, all of our wire copy is also posted in
full-text to their eponymous news and information database.
And finally, through broadened syndication agreements with
COMTEX News Network, Moreover and Pinnacor, summaries of our headlines
are cross-posted each day to both Yahoo! News and Google News
-- two premier news websites on the Internet.
Collegiate Presswire continues to evolve and introduce new
services that meet the needs of todays student journalists
and broadcasters. With more than 830 college and university
newspapers and 250 college radio stations on our daily
distribution circuits, and many more checking out our Web site
each day, Collegiate Presswire has become a vital content
source for Americas print and broadcast collegiate media.
Our clients range from Fortune 500 firms to small,
entrepreneurial start-ups - and everything in between that
have recognized the power and influence of the student media.
A wide range of companies have put Collegiate Presswire to
work for their publicity and outreach campaigns, branding
opportunities and media-monitoring programs.
Collegiate Presswire has received a great deal of media
attention, including numerous write-ups in PR Week, ODwyers
PR Newsletter, Ragans Interactive PR and Tactics
-- the newsletter of the Public Relations Society of America.
On the media side, Collegiate Presswire has been featured
several times in Trends, the newsletter of the
Associated Collegiate Press.
We look forward to putting our services to work for you!
