ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Sep 3, 2002--AGL Networks, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of AGL Resources Inc. (NYSE: ATG), today announced it has signed a long-term lease agreement with Emory University.
The agreement will provide Emory University dark fiber connectivity to six touch points in a nine-mile special build loop and lease of fiber in the east business district. The six touch points will include Emory Crawford Long Hospital, Emory West Campus and Grady Memorial Hospital and will be used for the purpose of internal voice and data communications along with collaborative research.
