City of Hope Trip Showcases the Best Qualities of Collegiate Athletics

ADVISORY--(BW SportsWire via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Dec 28, 2001--WHAT: The rival teams from the Rose Bowl National Championship Game will demonstrate the best of collegiate athletic spirit by taking time out from their hectic schedules to visit children at City of Hope Cancer Center. Players and coaches from the Miami Hurricanes and Nebraska Cornhuskers will sign autographs, hand out team memorabilia and pose for photographs with young fans. They will be joined by this year`s Rose Queen Caroline Hsu and her Royal Court, Jann Carl of Entertainment Tonight and special surprise guests as they bring the
joy of the season to children who are in the hospital fighting cancer.


WHEN: Sunday, December 30, 2001
9 - 10 a.m. Nebraska Cornhuskers
10 - 11:15 a.m. Rose Queen, Jann Carl and guests
