ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Oct 1, 2002--Do you hear the roar of the crowd? Can you taste the ice-cold beer? Are you picturing yourself in sunny San Diego at the end of January? Stop fantasizing! If you`ve had the pleasure of ''doing it with Durex(R)'' and have an exciting story to share, you might be a big-ticket winner at the end of this football season. The world`s leading condom brand takes sexuality to the `MAX and launches a national contest in time for the arrival of Performax and Maximum, new condoms designed to prolong and heighten sexual pleasure for the power play.

In partnership with MAXIM magazine, the I Did it Here With Durex(R) contest challenges sports fans nationwide to share stories about the unusual places where they have engaged in the most fantasized contact sport of all. Whether it`s passion on the beach, a hot encounter in a hammock, or a little spicy spin-cycle action, participants are invited to tell Durex(R) how its condoms made them feel free enough to just go for it, anywhere. The entrant with the most original story will receive a trip for two to San Diego during the weekend of the big game.

''The newest Durex condoms, Performax and Maximum, are making a lasting impression with consumers,'' says Ted Conley, vice president of marketing for SSL Consumer Healthcare. ''These condoms, along with our other Durex(R) brand condoms, provide consumers with the freedom to have pleasurable, sexual experiences, while at the same time confidence in their protection. The I Did It Here With Durex(R) contest celebrates that freedom and offers our customers an opportunity to share some of their most adventurous experiences.''

Performax condoms are lubricated on the inside with a special body heat-activated climax control lubricant that allows long lasting sex and pleasure for both partners. Maximum condoms are designed for an easy-on better fit. Maximum condoms are also thinner than standard Durex(R) condoms and contain more lubricant for a more natural, intimate experience.

''Performance anxiety is among the most common concerns for sexually active men. Products like Performax and Maximum help lessen that anxiety so that men, and women, have the freedom to enjoy sex and to please their partner without obsessing about the encounter, and without fear of contracting sexually transmitted disease or HIV.

Without the worries about performance, during sex people can lose themselves in the moment...anywhere,'' says Sari Locker, well-known sexologist and author of The Complete Idiot`s Guide to Amazing Sex. ''The I Did it Here With Durex(R) contest helps make consumers aware of that freedom.''

Contest entries will be driven through the Durex(R) Website (www.durex.com) and maximonline.com, which will also disclose the contest rules. Participants, 18 and older, are asked to submit accounts of their sexual encounters using Durex(R) condoms that will be evaluated against all of the entries. The first prize-winner will be awarded a trip for two to San Diego the weekend of the big game, tickets to one of the hottest parties in town thrown by MAXIM and a travel supply of Durex(R) condoms. Second place prize-winners will receive a one year supply of Durex(R) condoms. The contest will run through November 22, 2002. Winners will be announced in January 2003.
