COMEDY CENTRAL`s first original movie, “Porn `n Chicken,” will premiere on Sunday, October 13 at 10:00 p.m. Based on the true story of Yale`s Porn `n Chicken Club, an underground group that gathers weekly to eat fried chicken and watch pornography, this two-hour original movie focuses on the controversy surrounding the making of ``The StaXXX,`` a porn film shot by the Porn `n Chicken Club - which features fellow students as actors.
``Porn `n Chicken`` is a coming-of-age story that follows five Ivy League students as they struggle with the university administration over an X-rated prank. Along the way, each student is forced to re-examine their futures and their convictions while learning a thing or two about rebellion, sexual freedom and love. Written and directed by Lawrence Trilling, ``Porn `n Chicken`` is produced by COMEDY CENTRAL Films and Tribeca Productions.
Continuing its tradition of cultivating new talent, COMEDY CENTRAL cast several up-and-coming actors in lead and supporting roles. Ebon Moss-Bachrach plays ``Porn `n Chicken`s`` lead character, Hutch, an anal-retentive college senior, who aspires to gain admission into his Ivy League university`s prestigious law school. Hutch is one of the five college students who form the infamous “Porn `n Chicken” Club. Rounding out the club`s founding members are Alex Burns as “Quentin,`` a handsome, wildly confident and ridiculously privileged student who hatches the idea to start the Porn `n Chicken Club to promote relaxation for his fellow overworked students; Geoffrey Arend as “Andy,” a nice guy who is counting on a lucrative career in finance and Michael Goldstrom as “Lenny,” a neurotic genius/workaholic who`s completely stressed out by his perfectionism and chronic lack of sleep. Angela Goethals plays the role of “Polly,” an outspoken, ambitious young woman who`s the club`s staunchest supporter and star of its controversial film.
In supporting roles as part of the college administration staff, television and movie veteran Kurt Fuller has been cast as “Dean Widehead,” Josh Pais as “Professor Hoffman” and Joseph Siravo as University benefactor “Roger Stone.” ``Ed`` series regular, Ginnifer Goodwin plays “Maya,” a reserved young woman who willingly attends the Porn ‘n Chicken Club’s meetings.
Playing themselves, Jenna Jameson, famous porn actress and porn legend Ron Jeremy appear as guest speakers at one of the Porn ‘n Chicken Club’s meetings.
comedycentral.com will launch the ``Porn `n Chicken`` Web site on September 24. The site will be a mock college newspaper presenting all sides of the campus debate, introducing the students and administration and their competing opinions. It will also feature the actor bios, photos, videos, behind-the-scenes and commentary from members of the original Porn `n Chicken Club and famous porn star Jenna Jameson.
