TRANSWORLD UNDECLARED FILM TOUR hits the big screen January - March 2003

BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Jan 13, 2003--The all-new TRANSWORLD UNDECLARED FILM TOUR, brought to you by the creators of last year`s TRANSWORLD LIVE campus tour, is poised to rock fifty colleges across the nation from January to March 2003.

Screenings will feature live DJ performances, emcees with tons of prizes and a raucous live atmosphere unlike any other movie. The free, 60-minute film features the world`s top athletes pushing the limits of freeskiing and snowboarding in a relentless onslaught of intense action, big air and harrowing wrecks. Commentary from ESPN X Games analyst Sal Masekela punctuates the TRANSWORLD UNDECLARED FILM TOUR.

The film`s first half pits the reigning heroes of new school snowboarding against Mother Nature and man-made obstacles, a specialty of Mack Dawg Productions director Mike McEnitre. This segment boasts marquee riders Jeremy Jones, Shaun White, Peter Line, Devun Walsh, JF Pelchat and Keir Dillon punishing terrain in Canada, Oregon, Utah and Northern California. The riding filmed here is sometimes jaw-dropping perfection, sometimes bone-crushingly painful and always a testament to Mack Dawg`s authority at the forefront of progressive snowboard films.

In the film`s second half, the film sheds boards for skis, turning to the filmmaker who is redefining the freeskiing movement--Johnny DeCesare. Poor Boyz Productions` vision of the freeriding future is equally obsessed with concrete-jungle rail slides and secluded backcountry sweet spots. From Tahoe`s backcountry to the East Coast`s daunting urban playground, skiers Tanner Hall, J.F. Cusson, C.R. Johnson, Evan Raps, Jon Olsson, Shane Szocs and Mike Douglas go big and lay it all on the line.

Each stop on the tour features a big-screen presentation of the film, a thundering sound system and free schwag including snowboards, ski gear, lift tickets and video games. Screenings are a one-night, one-show limited engagement and admission is free to students. The film`s pounding soundtrack takes the action several notches higher, featuring KISS, Jimmy Eat World, Swollen Members and other bands currently thumping colleges everywhere.

The TRANSWORLD UNDECLARED FILM TOUR is presented by Seagate Technology and title sponsors are the Intel Corporation and Microsoft Corporation Find Your Power Tech Tour. Tour sponsors include Clif Bar, EA Sports Big, Colorado Ski Country USA and The Princeton Review, with support from Freeze, TransWorld Snowboarding, and TransWorld Stance. Produced by Warren Miller`s Josh Haskins, edited by documentary specialist Ryan Moore, co-produced by Freeze magazine`s Michael Jaquet and Warren Miller`s David Perry and Chuck Olney, and executive produced by Andy Clurman and Bailey Pryor, TRANSWORLD UNDECLARED FILM TOUR is an edge-of-your-seat action movie from snowsports films` most progressive visionaries.
