Album arrives in stores April 1st on Arista Records, preceding tour kickoff on April 9th in Toronto
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Feb 11, 2003--Arista recording group Gob has completed the final mixes on FOOT IN MOUTH DISEASE, their first full-length album for the label, which will arrive in stores on April 1st - 10 days before they embark on fellow Arista artist Avril Lavigne`s first major headlining ''Try To Shut Me Up Tour'' of North America, it was announced today by Antonio ''L.A.'' Reid, president and CEO, Arista Records. The tour will begin on April 9th, at Air Canada Center in Toronto (in Avril and Gob`s native Canada), and ends on May 17th at First Union Center in Philadelphia. FOOT IN MOUTH DISEASE, Gob`s full-length major label debut, follows their recent 9-song, F.U. EP, issued last October. FOOT IN MOUTH DISEASE was produced Mark Trombino (Blink 182 and Jimmy Eat World). The final track list is as follows: ''Lemon-Aid,'' ''I`ve Been Up These Steps,'' ''Oh! Gob, comprised of Tom Thacker (lead vocals and guitar), Theo Goutzinakis (vocals and guitar), Craig Wood (bass), and Gabe Mantle (drums), have established a strong and loyal following as a result of constant touring, numerous indie singles/eps and three albums.
