The State of Play is an annual conference that brings together legal scholars and practitioners, computer scientists, game designers, and entrepreneurs to explore the next frontier in the evolution of cyberspace: virtual worlds. Last year`s conference, The State of Play: Law, Games, and Virtual Worlds, introduced the emerging legal, economic, cultural, and sociological issues in these three-dimensional computer environments. The State of Play: Reloaded continues the conversation, highlighting the themes of the role of intellectual property and governance in virtual worlds.
