SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Nov 2, 2004--12-year-old Texas inger/songwriter, Rachel Laven, is asking musicians and radio DJs nationwide to play the song she wrote, ''No War,'' as an act of peace on Election Day, November 2, 2004.

''During the past two years, I`ve felt like I needed to get out there and do whatever it takes to move the direction of our country towards peace. But not very many things are open for kids to do about politics, mainly because kids are so oblivious to what actually is going on right now. So I tried writing songs about my opinions and, well, now they`re getting out there,'' says Rachel.

Rachel lives in San Antonio, Texas and is backed on the song by her mother, Jana, on vocals; her brother, Niko, on drums; Tyler M. Phillips on bass; and talented young blues guitarist, Will Owen-Gage, on lead electric guitar.

The full video and audio clip of Rachel`s song, as well as the lyrics, can be found at www.actofpeace.net.
