ADVISORY / Fox Soccer Channel Announces Its Major League Soccer Season 10 National Telecast Schedule

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Apr 22, 2005--MLS Season 10 marks the third consecutive year that Fox Soccer Channel will carry live telecasts nationally from the premier soccer league in the United States. Fox Soccer Channel began its live transmissions of the 2005 season on April 2, with the opening day match between Columbus Crew and the Los Angeles Galaxy. The channel will broadcast 31 regular season games as well as a selection of playoff matches from each of the MLS teams, including new expansion teams CD Chivas USA and Real Salt Lake.

The New England Revolution, currently in second place in the eastern conference, will receive the highest visibility on Fox Soccer Channel with up to nine games on this season`s broadcast schedule. U.S. men`s national team mates Clint Dempsey, Pat Noonan, Steve Ralston, Matt Reis and Taylor Twellman will pave the way for Revs and New England Head Coach Steve Nicol this season. Defending MLS Cup Champions D.C. United will also receive ample time on the network as they head into the 2005 season looking for a breakout year from their
teenage phenom Freddy Adu. The Los Angeles Galaxy, who recently acquired three-time U.S. Soccer Player of the Year Landon Donovan, will also be featured prominently on Fox Soccer Channel.
