Program Allows Research-Driven Students and Faculty Access to Powerful Online Survey Tools

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--May 16, 2007--QuestionPro (www.questionpro.com), a leader in online survey hosting and delivery since 2002, announced today it has extended its QuestionPro University Sponsorship Program. Currently, more than 100 universities across the United States and around the world are using the company's hosted survey tools to facilitate university research. The program has been extended to include all new signups through December 31, 2007.

The University Sponsorship program enables universities and educational institutions worldwide to leverage QuestionPro's technology to benefit and enrich their educational curriculum. The program allows for educational institutions to partner with the company to provide online survey services free of cost to all the students and faculty members for educational use.

While there is a prevalence of free online research tools, none offers the rich feature set of QuestionPro. Due to budget constraints, many educational institutions use these low-end services, then become frustrated with their limitations or simply don't get high enough quality of information to provide the type of insights and data from the research.

QuestionPro makes it possible for these organizations to leverage the full feature set of QuestionPro's online survey service for free for up to a year. In exchange, non-profits acknowledge QuestionPro in their surveys and on their website.

There are some other simple requirements, including: students and faculty must have a university assigned email address; the license will be valid for one year from the date of registration; use of the free license should not be part of any paid research (including grants) or consulting; students and faculty must be actively enrolled/working with the university; and a maximum of one QuestionPro account can be created per individual. More information on the program can be found on the web at http://www.questionpro.com/corporate-sponsorship/.

QuestionPro offers a complete set of tools for conducting online surveys, whether for market research, customer satisfaction, or just about any other need. QuestionPro offers advanced features for developing surveys including branching, randomization, extraction, and compound branching to name a few. The integrated emailing system gives the user the ability to send mass invitations and track response rates. Results are always available at the click of the mouse, and are always updated with the most recent data.

"By their very nature, educational institutions are research-driven," said Vivek Bhaskaran, QuestionPro's co-founder and CEO. "Unfortunately, given tight budgets, technology and tools usually fall to the bottom of the priority list. With our University Sponsorship program, we are able to help universities carry out their missions while at the same time creating a new generation of users who are familiar with the power of online surveys."
