Clients Increasingly Use CPFoto To Enhance Press Release Distribution

CLIFTON, N.J.--(COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Nov 20, 2001--Collegiate Presswire, the leading electronic distributor of press materials and marketing information to the nation`s college media, announced today that traffic over its new CPFoto circuit has increased steadily since the beginning of this school year.

Clients have used the service to distribute both stand-alone graphics and supplemental images to accompany their press releases to college media outlets.

The CPFoto service provides Collegiate Presswire`s more than 700 subscribing college-media outlets and its clients with a valuable, new way to connect. Using the CPFoto service, clients can post photos, logos, artwork or any other ready-to-run visual elements to accompany their text-based press releases on Collegiate Presswire for an additional fee.

``CPFoto is a direct result of our commitment to fulfill the needs of college editors,`` said Lisa Bannerot, Director of Media Services for Collegiate Presswire. ``Many editors have asked for graphics, and with this product, we have answered them by expanding our content offerings into the world of multimedia.``

College media outlets are free to use the photos in their publications to provide a visual reference for the press releases that they turn into stories. In addition to posting photos, Collegiate Presswire will also transmit a media alert on its national Campus One wire to alert student editors to the photos` availability and format.

The new service was designed with ease-of-use in mind. Visitors to the website (http://www.cpfoto.com) can browse through photos and access or download the images with one click. The latest stories on the wire can also be read from a link on the CPFoto homepage.

``With the CPFoto service, Collegiate Presswire has introduced the first photo-distribution wire specifically focused on the highly-targeted collegiate media,`` said Matthew Farlie, Director of Business Development. ``With this powerful new distribution, we have successfully expanded the portfolio of communications solutions we can offer to our clients.``

Early clients to use the CPFoto service to target the college media include Taco Bell, Warner Bros., Southern Comfort, The Economist and First USA.
