NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--Mar 15, 2005--The Movies.com College Critics Association (CCA) today announced the call for entries for the Second Annual Top College Critics Competition. College critics are invited to enter at movies.com/cca by submitting a movie review published in print or online, or broadcast via radio or television for a movie that was released theatrically in 2004. The deadline for submission is April 15, 2005 and finalists will be announced May 9, 2005. Critics can join CCA for free by registering at www.collegecritics.com/registration.

Finalists will attend the Fifth Annual Ebert & Roeper Film Festival at Sea, a four-day film festival with Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper aboard the Disney Wonder, sailing to the Bahamas in fall 2005. The cruise will feature screenings of films hand-picked by Ebert and Roeper. During the cruise, the grand prize winner will be announced from the three finalists, receiving a trip to Chicago to attend a taping of ''Ebert and Roeper.'' Additionally, the winning movie review will be posted on Movies.com.
The Movies.com editorial staff will be responsible for selecting the three finalists and the grand prize winner will be selected through online voting hosted by Bolt.com, a lifestyle portal that targets a college-aged audience. Criteria for finalist selection will be based solely on clarity, factual accuracy, critical style, and depth and breadth of cinematic knowledge.
