ADVISORY--(BUSINESS WIRE via COLLEGIATE PRESSWIRE)--May 3, 2005--

WHO:
IDG`s Computerworld, ''The Voice of IT Management''

WHAT:
Computerworld`s 2005 ''Horizon Awards'' will recognize the developers of potentially important new information technologies. These are nascent technologies, either still in R&D; labs or just entering the marketplace. Please note technologies that are already well-established or enhancements of new releases or existing products will not be considered. Computerworld is seeking technologies that could be applied in large enterprises, such as corporations, not consumer technologies. Qualified technologies must meet one or more IT needs. Computerworld is seeking nominations from research labs, universities and private/public companies.

WHEN:
Nomination forms are available online now through May 27 at 5 p.m. EDT.

HOW:
A panel of outside experts and Computerworld editors will review the nominations and choose the winners. The winners will be announced in the September 12 issue, as well as online at Computerworld.com.

WHERE:
The Horizon Awards nomination form can be found online at: https://survey.computerworld.com/surveys/Horizon/Horizon.htm. Questions about the Horizon Awards can be forwarded to [email protected].

WHY:
By participating in this survey, IT users can show appreciation for providers of breakthrough technology that has enabled them to solve business problems. In addition, survey respondents help Computerworld provide its readers with insight into new, cutting-edge technologies.
