The winning artist, decided by online voting by music enthusiasts, Philips and CMJ, will perform at the CMJ Music Marathon Opening Night Party, Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at the Roxy in New York City. The program is part of the Philips New Music CD Series featured in CMJ Magazine running now through October. From August through October 2002, listeners can log onto www.cmj.com/philips and vote for their favorite artist featured on three discs of Philips New Music Series. Visitors to the site can also register to win assorted products from Philips.
